Oh boy, the forums will be buzzing this week. John Cobb just put up a post about some recent wind tunnel tests he conducted among three of the fastest ever time trial frames: Zipp, Hotta, and the Cervelo P4.
What's the fastest timetrial frame? Unfortunately John doesn't let on what his findings were, and it appears he tested the bikes only - not the bikes with riders.
But at least for John and possibly a few others in the know, the secret of whether a UCI legal design can be as fast as the fastest non-UCI legal designs ever developed has been answered.
All these unanswered questions and "what ifs" are sure to fuel a raging debate in the coming days. Should be fun to watch.
Kind of makes you wonder
What is he up to, and what is coming next?
I wonder how this one would have compared?

Not so fast
I would bet that while that bike has talent it's not so fast as it could be. Not the least of the problems holding it back is the paint scheme. :)
And its lack of pedals...
Or does the rider wear special shoes that clip directly into the holes on the crank levers?
the fastest bike.....
I've yet to find any bike that's fast. Isn't the rider fast and the bike is just along for the ride????
It´s a Lotus Sport
The same as Chris Boardman rode when he broke the hour-record a couple a years ago...
Dunno´ ´bout the crank arms, looks like Coda Magics...
