Got the E-mail from the LBS that the Tuesday-Evening-Party was ON! I knew that I had to go...these are always a blast.

Last night the trail head was full of parked cars and cyclists gabbing when I rolled up. There were too many new faces for me to recall all the names. They all seemed like really nice people.

Big Props to RedWheel for organizing these rides...it is may be not a big deal to E-mail out an invitation to everyone, but the result of those efforts are usually great...and seems evident that no one else wants the job of organizing riders.

The only downside of the event, was I got my 3rd flat in only 4 rides...it is getting old. I am not sure what went wrong, I do not recall casing anything, but I managed to pinch while carving a turn...I suspect that I have a thorn in there too that caused a slow leak...because for the life of me, I can not believe I would pinch on a curve with 31 P.S.I. in the rear tire...Oh those sliding drop outs on my new bike are going to be sweet!
