Check out these F---ing Turtles on the trail
Sorry, I could not resist the joke. Seriously though, I see some of the coolest things when I am out on the trail and here is something special I captured today. Most of the time I see something and by the time I get to the camera its gone...but these guys were keeping the pace....slow and steady wins the race.
I have had some great times out on the trail, but none as good as what these guys were experiencing.
I came zipping around the corner and luckily they were on the inside and I went wide and missed them by a couple feet. Snapped a few pictures and left them to their business. Other than the look the one on top gave me (see photo), I don't think I bothered them much.
You can see some of the coolest things on a bike. Riding is great, but these turtles reminded me that there is something greater! Isn't nature perfect!

They do it quite a bit....from spring until October according to the link above...although I don't expect that they do it *constantly*.
2-old-2-go-slow: Yeah, I just grabed my digital camera as an after thought...I thought may be there would be something cool to capture.
Guest(s): It was funny, I was there for about 30 seconds. During that time the male watched my every move (not at all like a typical turtle), and he was constantly giving me that look as if to say, "give me a break man, this is harder than it looks and you are not making life easier". Meanwhile, she was hiding her head in apparent shame....what a tramp!

Dude that is totally off the scale. The look on his face is priceless. She's looking kinda embarrassed by all of it but you can tell she's into it. I wonder whose idea it was to do it on the trail.

That's a great shot. You just happened to have your camera along or was that your cell phone camera? Looks too high quality to be a cell phone cam but I hear they're getting much better.
I don't imagine video would be very exciting.
