Got the call from Rob this morning. It seems he and Josh have been busy at Badger lately. The new shop is completed, and they have moved all their stuff into it.
Perhaps my bike will be the first to roll out of the new shop...sort of. Not sure about all that, but the report is that the frame and fork are now 100% and boxed up to be shipped out for paint (that takes place at another facility). So one might say that my frame and fork could be the first to be shipped out of the new shop. It also was one of the last frames to actually be built from the old shop...is that important?
Regardless, it is definitely the first Badger ever produced for me, and I am pretty sure that this bike will be special to me....that is all that really matters, but I am quite interested in making sure that it looks special to others too...having a cool looking bike is not a bad thing...right?
What is new?
Well, as I said, the frame and fork are complete...should be getting some pics soon (will share when I get them). It was actually brazed a while back, but the finish work of sanding and polishing the fillets is also now done.
Time to finalize the parts spec. and select some paint/graphics. That is what Rob and I talked about at length this morning. The parts are up to me (with a few suggestions from Josh), but the paint is another story. Rob and I talked about colors and such...we are still working on the details.

Once that is sorted out, I will tell you more...right now not much is certain regarding the finish...one thing I am certain of is I want the finish of this frame to reassure all that the rider is definitely a poser....even if I get a serious upgrade in my "skills", I am pretty sure that this bike will outclass me.
