I went out for a ride tonight...but before I did, I got a few phone calls.

One from my wife, she had just purchased a backyard water park for our kids...this thing is huge and will likely kill a great deal of my lawn (that I have worked very hard on this year...so that my kids could enjoy it...sort of circular, I guess). So I had to go home and set it up for them.

A second call came in while I set up the fun park. It was Josh at Badger. He was reporting that he was sending me some photos of the build that is now moving along nicely.
YeeHaw! I have a reason to ride fast now! I will wait until after the ride to open the email and see the pics.
I went out to Binder and started rolling. I parked in a different area and started from a different trail head than usual, and I rode all the trails in a different direction from my usual choice.
After only a few minutes, I knew today was special. I was flowing and grooving like I can once or twice a year, when my planets align just right.
Garet are you listening? This ride was for you. My finsh time was in new territory! I am truly sorry that you are injured...I could have put a serious hurt on you tonight my friend!
Get well pal!
whaaa!!
Dude that thing's bigger than your back yard. Man you're going to have all the neighbor kids over all summer long. What is that thing like 8 feet tall and 15 long? It's HUGE!
Come Fourth of July we're going to have a hella party. I'm bringing my speedo and a case of PBR.
Michael Jackson
is jealous of my back yard now. He called and asked to come play when it was just a playground and a bounce house back there, now that she bought this, he really wants to come over and hang out in his banana hammock.
Just say no
Just say no
Never gonna be no never never land behind your house, not with me, my speedo and my bucket of PBR around. I'm even thinking of growing a mullet for the occasion.
If only
I had one of those things when I was a kid. Lucky them.... and ya, I wish I was there to tear it up with you. After talking with Ebby here in Sedalia, I think I've decided to ride the trainer an hour every night at 50-60% perceived effort. That's gonna be the extent of my riding for awhile. Good to hear you were on though, keep it up, I'll be back to kick your arse in 6 weeks : )
