This week has really been out of place here. Temps are typically in the mid 30s during the morning commutes, and in the 60s for the return trips. A bit different from last week.

The trails are likely soup with scattered ice, so I have not attempted any real rides this week. I have been riding my off road setup on the streets and bike paths this week in attempt to keep sanity.

A few episodes of core work, to keep my peripherals strong. I figure my back, arms, neck, fingers, you-name-it are going to be hurting when we finish up in Arkansas, so any building I can do now might help.

The diet is plateaued. I have not made any more improvements, but I have not slid backwards much either. I still am not drinking more than a single soda per week, and may be about 20 oz of milk per week. I still am not eating much simple sugar, but I have consumed a few bowls of cereal in the past week...that stuff just tastes so good sometimes.

Today, between jobs, I hope to get some bike maintenance done. Need to adjust the calipers a bit, and my cleat position on my new shoes is not quite correct. I am hoping to get things dialed, but these pedals are acting as if they need to reside in the parts bin...the retainers seem badly worn.
