Today is the first day this week that I did not wake up to the sound of rain pounding the roof. It has been a difficult week in terms of riding comfortably outside, and because I subscribe to a similar philosophy to Mark (not starting a ride in the rain typically) I spent a lot of time on the trainer...that is right, a Trainer Time Trial series!

Who wants in? Who wants to participate in the next big thing that will surely replace all other fall bicycle activities?...No one? Yeah, I thought so.

Pretty sad. I usually follow a progression through the week of evening rides with a typically difficult ride on Wednesday. The weather really got in the way this week and the combination of my work schedule and early darkness may keep me doing these TTTs mid week for the rest of the year.

I set the bar fairly low for this inaugural ride. Do not want to quell interest too early in the season you know...
