I have been investing in my fitness lately. I have decided to give my bike a makeover of sorts.
Some would say that I am simply bringing my bike up to the most recently outdated technologies. Honestly, the stuff I have put on recently would have been exciting to a gear junkie in 2002. I guess I am not an early adopter?
Anyway, I have replaced a bunch of parts and have been riding more than previously. It seems to be doing my body well, and I am enjoying life more as a result (I think that is what it is really all about, anyway).
I guess if I am going to show off anything here it is really the images that my wife's new camera can take. This camera is quite amazing (I am learning how to use it too).
I could type a bunch about how snazzy these hubs are, or how solid the build is (courtesy of Mark and Pam at The Depot), but a picture is worth a thousand words...here are 4000.

Nice photos, nice hubs and nice spokes. But what kind of camera is it?
Thanks
The Camera is a Canon Rebel XSi with a Canon EF-S 18-55mm Image Stabilizing (IS)lens (the one that came with it). I mention the lens because the lens is more than half the battle. I have tried other lenses and it quickly becomes evident that I am *not* a great photographer with every other lens if have tried.
You did not ask, but the hubs are White Industries H2 hubs, laced to Niobium 30 rims (these get re-badged by MANY companies) with DT Aerolite spokes. The build prioritizes stiffness, then Aerodynamics, then weight (but they turned out pretty light).
I am also trying a new (to me) product with this build. Rim plugs (instead of rim strips).
