Toys

An old friend stopped by the other day. Upon hearing of my late decision to start doing TTs this year he brought me some toys to consider for use.

I am pretty married to the concept of riding Mercks style, but I must say that bolting on a front and rear disc wheel would be an interesting experience if the wind conditions were right. It sure is nice to have so many options!

That wheel is one of the most interesting and fast looking wheels I have ever held...but the data suggest that a lot of very common looking wheels performed much better in the tunnel.

Why they choose to make the section depth variable instead of constant around the circumference is a mystery. Particularly if you think about how to make a tri-spoke wheel strong.
