I've been doing pretty good not to injury myself too bad this year. I'm coming off a cracked tailbone, and looks like I'm coming into a torn tendon or such in my left hand.
It started last week sometime, not sure what spurred it. Could be the skateboarding I got back into. Anyways, I was talking with a co-worker about it after feeling what feels like a fracture in my wrist. He felt it and assured me it was most likely a tear in the tendon or whatever it is. He had the same thing back when he was playing baseball. The cure, well pretty much let it heal itself.
Anyone got any suggestions on things I can do to speed up the recovery? I imagine there isn't much the doctor can do so I'm leaving them out of it. It hurts like hell if I lift something wrong or I turn my hand the wrong way. I can still ride, so that's all I care about. Out with one injury, in with another, my life story...
No fun
Soft tissue injuries are no fun. And yes, unless one disables your or unless you're a professional something-or-other whose career earnings could be endangered, it's not like you can or should do much about them. You just have to let 'em heal.
The good news is you're a fast healer.
