Beautiful Day in Horse Country

Got about 2 1/2 hour ride in today. Got in close to 50 miles with a group of about 15 riders. 70 degrees and light winds, and not a cloud in the sky. Ended up riding the last 10 miles solo after having to address a mechanical issue with the bike. the seat post was slipping on me and at one point I felt like I was riding a BMX bike.

I still refuse to work really hard in a trainer session this year. Not yet. Not ever, this year, if I can help it.

I've done so many miles indoors this year. It's got to be some kind of record for me. The only protest I have for it is a steadfast refusal to crank up the intensity.

Failure flows like electricity

Perfect intentions. I carefully planned my afternoon so as to take a lunch break on the bike. I found a cold but not freezing place to set up my bike and suited up. Grabbed my MP3 player to use as a timer and insanity-prevention device.

Screen is black, no response to any input...attempt a manual reset...no dice!
