I made another attempt at the Missouri State Time Trial aka Race of Truth. True to it’s name, it provides insight into truth. I will share some truths I discovered today below.

I was introduced to this term last Wednesday by Dr. Coggan. He was referring to a setup that was completely opposite mine...yet similar in some respects.

His setup was aero-or-die also know as aero bars with no base bar. Mine has a base bar but no aero bar. Both setups rely on the rider to draw rather heavily on his/her handling skills at times during the ride.

Riding a stationary trainer in July pretty well sucks, but somehow I am managing to enjoy it. My schedule is crazy with kid activities, relatives visiting, and trying to plan for the TT on Saturday.

I went for a solo ride today. I just wanted to spin some funk out of my system. A couple hours in the saddle on some back roads is usually good for this task. While I was out riding I had some time to think about things and came to a few realizations.

Yesterday started with a bang and ended with a blast!

An old friend stopped by the other day. Upon hearing of my late decision to start doing TTs this year he brought me some toys to consider for use.
