So much for my big plans on the bike today. I had wanted to get out and do a long and easy recovery ride. It didn't quite work out that way.

Our weather's been completely unpredictable this year. They call for sun and we get rain. They call for rain and we get whatever is behind door number 3. Today was one of those days. My usual Saturday morning routine is pretty hectic. I like to run around an knock out as many of the important projects around the house as possible. That leaves the afternoon for saddle time.

Too bad for me the morning was the good part of today. By the time I was freed up for that long recovery ride the clouds had gathered and the rain began. At least I got all my chores done.

I try to run my Sundays the other way around - do the riding in the morning and the everything else in the afternoon. We'll see how that works out...
