Steep!
Talking about steep hills is often a little like fishermen describing the size of their catch.
But I have proof for a stretch on today's ride. Some really great cycling currently in the Alps.

I did not know that pavement would stick to a slope that steep! I would have thought it would just slide down the mountain.
Viscosity
They use high viscosity asphalt. LOL
I wonder how they pack it down. Will your average steamroller climb a grade like that? Oh wait, they probably don't use your average steamroller.
Seriously steep. I'm pretty sure I've never ridden a road with a grade that steep.

27% has pain written all over it. The steepest I have ever been on is 25% and it hurt, but at least it was only short.

It was not very long
Maybe 250 metres (yards). But silly steep and it hurt
