Well, not really!
We met up for a ride last night, and the weather was great. We set out for a longer ride than usual, and mine would be longer still because I had to commute home afterwards (the ride started and ended on the east end, I live on the west end of town).
Not much to report from the ride other than to say that it was a great time on a great route.
When I split off from the group near the start/finish point I upped the pace slightly and headed home. Along the way I noticed something in the ditch as I zipped past. An Ipod! Turns out it was fools gold, this thing is not even good as a paper weight (looks like it has been run over a couple times).
I am determined to find a use for this thing. Perhaps I can fashion it into a tire lever or hollow out the inside to make it an electrolyte pill storage box. How often do you see someone drinking pills from an Ipod and later use it to pry off a tire? I think that may be the best/safest use for one of these things on the road!
Come ride with me...or at least come ride.
