Rolling through the holidays

Merry Christmas
And in case you're not celebrating Christmas because you celebrate something else, then please translate "Merry Christmas" into my wishes for the best of your choice of celebration.

and if you're not celebrating any of those... Then best of wishes for that choice too.

This is a traditional no-ride day for me. Aside from the lack of time in general, I don't' typically feel much like riding on Christmas. There are too many delicious alternatives; and they invariably leave me feeling sluggish and uninterested in anything physical.

Yesterday I didn't feel like that at all though. Oh no, not at all. Neither of us did. Yesterday was a good day for paying forward today's overindulgence. Alas, the weather didn't cooperate. Cold and rain = no way to spend Christmas Eve. Yesterday is why rollers were invented.

And I got an early Christmas present to boot. I think I'd been able to ride no-hands for all of 5 seconds prior to yesterday's ride. Don't ask me to explain it; but after 90 minutes of riding yesterday I suddenly got the urge to give it a go, just to see if I could better that 5 seconds. Somehow it just worked, and I probably rode those rollers no-hands for a minute or so.

Better than a A Red Ryder BB gun with a compass in the stock I tell ya. Merry Christmas!

Good times

Next time we do this, I will make sure you are in the foreground.

I am glad we got some good calorie burning done...I bet I did not burn more than about 5 today, but I consumed about 4000. I have no regrets though! I built a nice hole, and filled it up today.

Too big

Those actually look pretty realistic except that they happen to be identical and neither is drenched with sweat. I don't know about you, but mine would have been.

Good job.

Oh, and why do you want to put me in the foreground next time?

I look huge

I look like a freak in the foreground and so does my bike. Having you and your bike in front will reduce the perspective effect.

You're a giant

You're just a giant on a giant bike. Putting you behind me will only look funny. :)
