I just got back from another ride with Boz. My phone beeped at just the perfect time. I was just putting the finishing touches on a pot of chili and starting to get my head around a ride plan for today. He was meeting a couple of other guys for some flat loops in the wind. About the same as yesterday, only a bit longer this time. Perfect, exactly the kind of workout I can use today.
I had scheduled this week, the one ending today, as an easy week. A rest and test week. Now that I have all my files downloaded and my plan updated I find that I'm pretty much exactly where I want to be right now. The rest and test week saw more than a 50 point drop in TSS while CTL held steady.
I had originally planned to start ramping it up again this coming week, but a bunch of us are heading south for a mini-training camp on the weekend. I'm sure to get a nice CTL boost from that so I think I'll leave it on cruise control a few more days and let the camp make the week.
After all, there isn't much to be gained from pushing CTL too high too early.
Odd ride, but good
I think we had it all today...wind, more wind, and water fountains. Good ride and it was a big help having you out there with me this weekend. You'll be more than ready for this coming weekend.
Ah yes, the geyser
I forgot to mention the geyser!
Too bad that dude turned it off before we got there. My car really needed the shower.
