The good: Podium finishes in the Masters 50 and the Open Tandem classes at today's State Timetrial Championship. The tandem race was good for a championship jersey.
The bad: High heat and wind. I deyhdrated badly. It cost me severe cramps in multiple places, all at the same time. Worse, after the race I could not stand and remain conscious.
The ugly: I'm fairly certain that will be my power file. I can't seem to get up enough courage to look at it.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Well done!! Sorry to hear about your physical condition, though. Get rested up and healed well. I imagine staring at that jersey will speed the recovery.
Thanks Boz
Very much appreciated. Tuesday evening and I'm starting to feel human again. I might even be able to sleep well tonight. The first night, way too much pain. Last night, still painful but better. I might have been able to sleep were it not for the storms.
Now tonight... Yeah, tonight it's all going to work out well.

Yeah, nice work!
Something that will be hard to convey on a blog is how the effort really felt. I could tell that your really left everything on the course.
A first place and a third place are results to be proud of, but the sense of accomplishment you must have from pushing yourself into the darkest shade of red must really be something.
Congratulations, Mark
Seriously nice job considering the conditions. I figured it would be between you, Scott Sifferman, and Curt Evanson to get the jersey. They'll be watching you next year!
I can't believe you went out and did it again behind Andy!
