Here I sit at the beginning pondering what my riding week will offer (Mondays are typically a core day spent off the bike). I feel well rested and ready to tear my own legs off for another round.
I sure hope things go well (weather) and I can make the plan a reality.
Something about actually planning out a week is really cathartic. The anticipation/questioning for how I will rest/recover (among the other demands in my life). How hard will these workouts actually feel (might depend on how well I recover)? How will I feel post workout knowing that I made one more chip at the wall of weakness that slows me down?
Every day is an opportunity, and every week is a potential block. Tear it down, build it up...see what happens!
Spoke too soon
It is pouring rain out there right now. Guess I will have to drag out the trainer for my intervals today...
plans???
I've been spending the last week just doing what ever feels right. Luckily it's been good with the coach, too. Next week it will be back to focus, but you're right I really like to have a carrot at the end of each training block, keeps the pain in check.
