My PC does not want to play on the network right now so I am blogging via phone. Please excise the lack of spell checker that keeps me looking smarter than I am.

Yesterday was beyond comparison to any other day so far this August. I woke up to cool temps and actually got out the embrocation. Perhaps I was a little over zealous but the warming of the oils felt nice and kept my legs loose all day.

That was good too because we put in some hours and my legs needed to stay loose. I wish I could discuss the distance but the only discussion can give deals with the 36 km my computer registered at the end of the ride. I am pretty sure we went a lot farther than that BTW.

We took full advantage of some of the many road improvements around here and enjoyed some good sights and sounds.

The only bad stuff happened as I re-entered my neighborhood and realized my rear tire was dangerously low on air. Unfortunately "realization" was in the form of tire rolling off the rim in a corner accompanied by the sound of sidewall rubber and aluminum rim on asphalt. No injuries to rider or rim but it was still not my choice for how to end a great ride!
