I am deeply sorry for I have sinned.
I let a Sunday come and go and did not ride outside (or inside). I promise to make up for this wrong by riding profusely toward the end of the week (when the weather is supposed to be nice, and I should not have to help anyone move). In the mean time I will be cramming in trainer sessions here and there.
My penance for not riding will be to do a little extra riding on Friday and Saturday. With any luck I will force myself into needing a "recovery" ride next Sunday.
Yesterday was productive, but unfortunately I could not get much cycling accomplished with the little time I had left over. Perhaps for Lent I should have given up making excuses?
That Makes Two of Us
I opted to clean out the basement (or at least make a major dent) instead of ride yesterday. Unfortunately, work is piling up and my chances of sneaking off Thursday to Council Bluffs for a couple of loops is looking iffy.
Bag that MTB ride
Just kidding. I have decided to stay off the MTB until my shoulder is entirely cool with the concept (I think MTB would be an unwelcome stress to this joint).
If you can not make your ride, and you would be willing to trip here on Friday afternoon, I promise to provide a good ride and some fantastic post ride coffee (my Barista hooked my up with some rare bean that he and my kids roasted yesterday...sorry about the shadows in the photo). I can also promise some great ride companions!
