What can I say? The past week presented a difficult schedule in terms of fitting in any riding, this week looks worse.

On a positive note I did get to ride quite a bit this weekend. I logged a bit over 6 hours of saddle time which is not too bad for me. What is more, I enjoyed every minute of it.

For those who know me and my friends, Saturday was a fun-fest of Jason, G-wiz, Mitch, a new addition to the group (Colin), and me. All strong riders, all seemed to have similar ride objectives. G started out stronger than I have ever seen for that punk, but he diminished to "human" after a couple hours. That kid is training with some pros and it shows!

Sunday was a calmer venue. Joe and I discussed the world's problems and how best to solve them as we put in some miles.

Unfortunately, this week is not looking very promising due to scheduling conflicts. Looks like I may be taking a little vacation from the bike until my schedule loosens up a bit.
