Last night a big group of locals (some not so local) met up to do some CX practice, and then strap on the lights for some trail riding. I was not really all that into the CX riding (my current set up is not geared anywhere near what I might try for CX).

I was surprised by the number of inquiries I got last night regarding this blog! I guess that figures since the traffic has been THROUGH THE ROOF lately. Hopefully, more of you will post here with regularity...variety is wonderful.

The bugs were out in force last night, but once we got moving and away from the field things were great. I am happy to report that my light is still working great and as bright as I recall from last year. The weather was all wrong though. It was in the high 70s the whole time we were riding! Night rides are supposed to also require warmer cloths...and seeing your breath.

Oh well, we had a great time and finished up without event. It was a nice slow ride and we enjoyed the wonderful sounds of the woods after dark. I am looking forward to many more of these rides, hope some of you join me!
