Looting the ToM
What an utterly fantastic sport. Few sports allow mortal hacks that dream of performing like pros to get so close to their idols as they perform the way cycling does. We here in Jefferson City were recently honored as the Tour of Missouri blasted into town.
Being able to stand so close that you can feel the wind off the wheels of the bikes in the race is neat. Riding the route that the Tour traveled a few days ago and looting the discarded bottles from the roadside is way cool.
It is truly humbling to ride some of these roads after seeing the way those guys blistered the asphalt.

Actually Joe and Lynn did
I wish this was my haul. They went scouting yesterday and covered a lot of area. I got to hear the story today. They also found some unopened energy bars and gels that are nit of this continent. Apparently those Euros know their energy bars...might have to order some of them.
Good stories they told. I guess they gained quite a respect for those domestiques!
Looting
I forget if I ever posted this video up before (not mine obviously). When I thought of "looting" this video also sprang to mind. It has nothing to do with anything discussed here, but a classic/great video that deserves to be viewed.
