I was hoping to get out between the downpours this morning for a ride. This route will not work very well.
These shots are actually considerably upstream of the ford where water typically flows over the road after a rain. I could not make it down to the ford, but I would guesstimate that the water depth there would be about three or four feet deep and flowing with white caps.
Going to have to find an alternate route for today. I think I will spin on the rollers for a bit.
Boogie Board!!!
Where's that at Unit? That's some pretty serious overflowage... Perfect for some serious boogie boarding. I ran onto some of that last night driving some of our gravel backroads. The monsoon finally ended this morning, and I snuck out for a nice 60 mile road ride this afternoon. The wind was a brute, but I felt good. We had gust up to 30 mph...
