Sorry but I got no video from my miles of fun in the sun today. I didn't even stop to take a photo or two. For me today it was just simply about the miles.
Or actually about the time. See, I wanted to get myself over the 3 hour hump. I've been gradually building up time in the saddle but until today the 2 hour mark was about all the legs would go.
I had originally thought to head out with some guys on the team. I didn't kick myself too hard when I overslept and missed my chance to meet up. They'd get 3 hours without a problem. I might have felt bad for holding them up though.
So I headed out on my own. I managed a bit over 3 hours of quality riding. Power? I have no idea. Same for speed. When I rolled in I hooked up my computer and my SRM screen went blank.
I'll get the data tomorrow after the battery recharges. No hurry. I'm good knowing I nailed the only statistic I cared about from this ride.
That is pretty respectable
I mean...that ride is pretty good, but it shows a lot of respect that you would not give us all headaches with a jittery video!
Seriously though, nice rolling! Three hours solo deserves respect. Glad your return is going so well.
Coming along
I guess it's coming along OK. Yeah, it's only been 5 weeks or so and I'm able to log a 3 hour ride. That's good. All during the ride yesterday I couldn't help thinking how worthless I'd be in a break pedalling as softly as I was.
Gotta start somewhere though.
sorry
I was only able to squeak out 1h15m ride on Sunday. I rode from home to New Town. Roughly 25 miles and would have covered it in just over an hour, but I forgot the Festival of Little Hills was taking place in downtown St. Charles and it took me quite a while to get through that madhouse.
No apology required
Hey no apologies needed. I'm delighted you got to ride at all on Sunday.
