A good Fathers Day
I was able to get out for a short ride with a few other dads, and a short ride by my self to enjoy the day. I find it refreshing when I can ride in and out of light rain showers for a portion of the day like I did yesterday. This time of year, you are likely to be soaked by the time your ride is over anyway...might as well be cool refreshing water instead of sticky, salty nastiness.
I was also able to enjoy some R&R as depicted below. Not always easy to do with a bunch of kids. Sweet moments!

I forgot something!
Last night as I was getting into bed and winding down for the night I started flipping through channels on TV. I found and was able to watch for the first time "The Flying Scotsman".
I love the Obree story, I have been a fan from the day I first read about this guy. The movie was pretty good, so if you get an opportunity, check it out!
