A few Tour of Hermann TT photos

Ah, it feels good to have that "raced today" feeling back in my legs. It's been a long time. Too long.

I thought I'd put up a few photos of my day. Nola was along to document my long overdue return to racing photographically; and these are a few of them.

How'd I do? Sorry to say, I don't know just yet.

Power wise, I was right about where I wanted to be. I set out to do something like 40 km power and overshot that by just a little. The profile, however, was encouraging. Out and back were within about 3 watts of each other. Not bad considering I powered up the climb from the start in downtown Hermann to the top of the bridge at almost 200% of FTP.

Results wise, I was holding down 3rd in the Cat 3s after the second of 3 waves. I'll find out tomorrow at the latest. I'm headed back to Hermann in a blue shirt for the road race.

Looking mighty smakr in the Big Shark wear and that hydrofoil of a helmet. Welcome back to the circuit!
