Not a bad day's effort, for a Thursday. Nearly 2 hours of base-building work. Fully 80% of it spent pedaling in L3 and L4, also known as Tempo and Threshold.
Didn't I say today would be a big TSS day?

I have to tell you though, toward the end I had to battle it out. I had one of those episodes when I really wanted to give it up. Wind it down and head for the showers. Indoor training is like that. I think everyone has their indoor training limit.
I have a lot of respect for the ones who can go 2, 3 or more hours. Then again, I don't train that much one any given day, indoors or out. For me indoor training starts getting old after about 75 minutes. More than that and my body turns against me. It tries to convince me I don't need to go any longer, that I have derived as much benefit from this training as can be derived.
Ever hear of diminishing returns? Enough is enough already.
A tired body can be very persuasive.
Nice looking chart
Nice intensity progression.
Agreed, hard work indoor to maintain any intensity§motivation.
