Early July. In mid-April I didn't think July would ever get here. My 2nd and hopefully final follow up visit with the doctor is only days away.
I go in for that visit week after next. I sign in, wait for the check-in administrator to call me, present the paperwork I will bring with me, fill out some more paperwork, receive the x-ray lab's paperwork explaining what to do with me when I get there, walk 25 m down the hall to the x-ray lab, hand them the paperwork explaining what to do with me, wait for the x-ray technician to call my name, get my x-rays taken, go to the doctor's office, check in, fill out whatever paperwork they may have for me, wait until they call my name, and finally see the doctor to learn whether I'm cleared to ride my bike again.
You know what?
It'll be worth all the waiting and paperworking just to hear him say I'm good to go.
And I will be there
Let me know the minute you are cleared. I will come up and we can head out for a long awaited ride!
recovery ride
I hope you ride long and hard the day before b/c the most I'll be able to put out probably won't add up to a recovery ride for you.
+1
Yeah, I wanna be on that first ride, too. Might be the only ride where I stand a snowballs chance in hell of ever staying with you for an entire ride. Good news for sure!
plus one to you too
Same goes for you Boz. You're looking strong and quite honestly I was wondering whether I might have trouble holding your wheel back when this whole thing started for me. Now, well I know I'll have trouble holding your wheel.
That is unless I'm holding it in the parking lot while you get your bike out of the car.
yeh it will be good to see
yeh it will be good to see you back out on the road once again. glad you're feeling better.
