Finally got around to snapping a pic of the cx bikes. The tires and wheels just put together on Saturday (thanks Alex) and all the minor adjustments were made in preparation for Sunday's Bearcat Cross race.

Here's a quick rundown of the parts:

Redline Conquest Team scandium frames - 58cm
Ritchey WCS Carbon forks
Ritchey WCS stem & bars
Salsa gel bar tape

I'll have pictures of the cx bikes up right here by Sunday. I promise. Hopefully, they prove to be worth the wait. I know I like them.

The Low Down

Been dialing in the fit on the TT bike over the last few weeks. In a search for more speed without too much sacrifice of comfort, I've embarked on lowering my frontal position. A Little Bit Here, A Little Bit There

Went to see Tim Ray, Bike Fitting Guru Extrordinare, yesterday in an attempt to get the TT bike dialed in. Tim is an absolute genius and within the course of 90 minutes, he had me much more comfortable (relatively speaking...it's a TT bike after all), generating 5% more power, and 100% more confident on the bike. I took the bike home and tossed it in the trainer for some additional saddle time. I've got to say it feels spot on. Now, I can focus on getting ready for the TT and just completing the training that's ahead.

Awesome.

New and Improved

New Mavic decals which match the scale of the Zipp decals in the front a little better. These were the brain child of Dan Dakin who did my previous decals. I'm really pleased with the level of service and support with Dan. I highly recommend his services and like the Mavic decals, if he (or you) can dream it, he'll make it. Here's his link:
