Two Wheel Blogs

Yes, we started advertising a little here on the Two Wheel Blogs site. It's just an experiment to see if by some dot com miracle we can offset some of the hosting costs for this site.

Traffic has been growing in chunks lately and it continues to grow. Somebody has to pay for it, right? The way we see it is this: If an advertiser wants to pick up some of the cost of hosting our site and the stuff they advertise is stuff we already have - and thus would recommend to our readers anyway - then why not let them advertise it and pay for the privilege?

If you see something advertised on the Two Wheel Blogs site that looks interesting, check it out. It helps keep the site going.

We're not looking to get rich here. In fact we already have an idea for how to avoid that. If by some miracle advertising revenues should ever grow to be more than the site costs, we'll start up a revenue sharing deal with our bloggers.

So that's it. We want to cover costs, and after that we'll give it away to the Two Wheel Blogs contributors. After all, it's the stuff our bloggers write that people come here for in the first place, right?
