5th Time's a Charm!!
This weekend will be my 5th weekend of racing cross in 2009. This weekend will also produce the 5th different team kit for me so far this year. Let's recap. Bearcat Cross, I raced for ICCC. Hermann Under the Lights, Mesa Cycles. Pride/Gear Up Cross in Godfrey, Lone Wolf Coffee Company. Bubba Cross at Faust Park, Hammer Nutrition. This weekend, I'll be sporting a Big Shark kit which is my new home as a part of the Big Shark-Pfoodman dirt oriented team lead by Ralph Pfremmer and Matt Struckman.
Our new team kits are being designed as we speak and we'll be sporting those come 2010. But for now, I'll be the old, fat guy in the black and red Big Shark shop kits rolling around the cross races so feel free to heckle, jeer, and offer a beer hand-up or two.
It's like the Seinfeld routine...
... about when baseball players change team. Before, we loved them. Afterwards, we hate them because they're wearing the wrong uniform. "When you look at it, we're booing clothes. Boo! Boo! Bad clothes!"
