September brought yet another racing opportunity my way. One of the guys on the team had told me earlier in the year he planned to promote a road race. I had a total of 1 mass start races under my belt at the time, so I figured the inaugural Tour de Ste. Genevieve was a good opportunity to double up.

I'm actually in this picture of bicycle racers. See the guy in the light colored kit between rider numbers 524 and 527? That's me. I was conserving energy for the big hills ahead.
