After my first and only MTB race, I'm sorry to say I was once again without a goal to train for. I continued riding and training with no sense of direction other than to keep fit.

I did make one major contribution to the sport of cycling, however. I volunteered for the Mo State Criterium Championships. When I showed up they were short a body or two at the registration table, so that's the job I was asked to do.

I'm not the guy on the bike in this picture. I'm the guy in the white t-shirt with the red logo under the tent.
