Tempo riding, easy wattage

I wonder what Floyd Landis' training data looks like today. Something tells me he didn't work out all that hard. If he rode at all.

For me, this was a tempo day. The office has been a big stress source this week so far and it doesn't show any sign of letting up soon. I wish I knew a way to assign a TSS score to office politics, beaurocracy and wall-to-wall conference calls. By the time I mounted up about all I had in me was an easy warm up, followed by an easy spin and an even easier cool down.

Peak 60min (209 watts):
	Duration: 1:00:00
	Work: 752 kJ
	TSS: 65.8 (intensity factor 0.811)
	Norm Power:	215
	VI: 1.03
	Distance: 30.426 km
		        Min	Max	Avg
	Power: 0	485	209 watts
	Cadence: 3	117	96 rpm
	Speed: 7.3	54.6	30.4 kph
	Pace 1:06	8:13	1:58 min/km
	Crank Torque:	0	61.9	20.8 N-m

My training zone distribution chart for today has a really big hump in the middle - lots of tempo. Not a lot of anything else.

Something tells me that if he rode at all, that's just about what Floyd's training data chart looks like too. Maybe with higher wattages though. Yeah, maybe.

Good Question

That's a really good question as to how other aspects of life effect your stress level. The training bible seb software used to feature a system which would allow you to assign a number to your stress level for the day. It was just percieved but at least it was something. This came from ideas suggested by coach Rich Crawford. Don't know if they still have this.
