Rinse, repeat

I love riding when the weather is like this. It looked like rain on and off all day long around here. I know, because I sat here and watched it as I worked around the house until mid-afternoon. Shortly after 2pm the alternating sunny then cloudy succession froze on cloudy. And I still hadn't gotten myself out for a ride.

I checked the weather radar. Nothing out there but clouds. Interestingly, the weather site said our 86°F temperature really felt like 101°. That could only mean one thing, really ugly humidity.

And so it was. Humid doesn't really describe it. I'd say "damp" captures it about right.

It got a lot more damp shortly after I took off too. I think I must have ridden into and out of five or six different rain showers. That's why they didn't show up on the radar. These little things were too small. They were beneath the resolution of the radar image on the web. Stealth rain.

So I got wet. Then dry. Then wet again. Rinse, repeat. I call that a day like any other on the bike: A good one.

Sweet

Wish it would have rained around here...it was just high humidity the whole time out on the trials. Still, like you said, a good ride.
