Pre-workout workout

At 3:57 this afternoon I told the guy I was talking to on the phone I was calling it a day at 4 o'clock. I told him it had been a tough day at the end of a tough week, and that 4 pm was the light at the end of the tunnel for me. He started talking faster, got down to business and wrapped it up with almost 30 seconds to spare.

Ten minutes later I was suited up and headed for the door.

I had in mind to get in a decent tempo workout today. Bobber and I have plans for an interval session in the morning, so I wanted to loosen up the legs and get the cobwebs out of the system. As it turns out I overshot my goal by a wide margin. My tempo workout somehow turned into threshold workout.

Duration: 1:55:13 (1:56:28)
    Work: 1496 kJ
    TSS: 157 (intensity factor 0.904)
    Norm Power: 240
    VI: 1.11
    Distance: 33.952 mi
                  Min Max Avg
    Power: 0 893 216 watts
    Cadence: 29 180 85 rpm
    Speed: 0 51.4 17.7 mph

Tomorrow morning might hurt a lot more than I'd planned. Ah well, it's all training. It's all good.
