Outta here for a few days

What great timing. We've finally got a break in this heat. And on a Friday, no less. I woke up this morning to temperatures in the low 70's. It's humid as ever, foggy even, but at least it's a cool humid.

In fact, I couldn't help but think it felt a little like fall. But wait, I'm not quite ready for summer to be over!

Before summer's done though, I have one last long party weekend to spend. That's this weekend. I'm headed for a cabin on the lake, where I plan to do some serious relaxing.

The agenda for the weekend is still under formation by the organizing committee. Only a few important details have been hammered out:

  1. There will be no riding
  2. Copious quantities of food and beverage will be consumed

You see, we don't like to get too bogged down in the details on these things.
