Money in the bank

So while Unit was melting into a pool of his own sweat this afternoon in his dungeon, I was making another 35-40km deposit on my yearly mileage.

I didn't really want to ride today. Yesterday's adventure in muscle soreness made me reluctant to climb back on for more today. What did it for me is I talked myself into it by saying it would be like money in the bank. Every km ridden is that much more conditioning in the legs. This time of year it doesn't matter much what kind of riding it is. It's the riding that matters.

That I figured I could deal with. I didn't have to go very hard if I didn't feel like it. Anything I did would be to the good. Plus tomorrow's probably a day off, depending on what time I get home. Hey, under those conditions how could I refuse?

Right now I have no idea what my Performance Manager Chart looks like. I wish I could tell you where my CTL is, but I don't have a clue. I suspect with the work I've done lately it's been on the rise. How much? I don't know.

I'm still between computers. My SRM file is on the new Windows machine, which is really the old machine; and I haven't decided whether to put WKO+ on it. One of these days I might get around to it but before I do I want to find out whether WKO+ will run on this Linux machine on a virtual WinXP machine.

So until I'm finished geeking around with my workflow I'll continue to make deposits - putting money in the bank - and not paying much attention to the balance.

It was not so bad...

I figure I made some watts...not sure how many, but there was no pool of sweat. I just kept grabbing a harder gear until the sweat did start to bead up and figured that was a good way to "spin" my time.

May be for Christmas, Santa will bring me some dry trails, and I won't need a fan.

Dry trails? What are those?

You mean trails can actually be dry? My god, where have they been all my life? This weather is beautiful but the nice wet soggy ground sucks. I'm gonna try to ride trails tommorow... if they're that bad I wont bother to ride but you never know. Its supposed to be 60 today!

Careful!!

Don't go damaging the trails. If you start to sink in or throw mud with your tires, bag it. I am sure you know this, but just thought I would say it again.
