Lessons Learned

A good evening on the trail for me. Almost 2 hours of hammering up and down the local single track gave me a full-body workout. Lots of great stuff to report this time out:

  • I didn't draw blood
  • I saw a couple of foxes running together coming up a trail as I was headed down. Bikini tops, what's that about? The trees are so thick on that trail there's no way they were getting a tan.
  • Insurmountable was gone. I came upon the two guys responsible. One was carrying a chainsaw. It wasn't hard to figure out. I said my thank you's and pressed on.
  • I added 5psi to my tires for this ride because I had bottomed out several times previously and was worried about pinch flatting. I found out that 5psi makes a big difference in handling. Really big.

In sum, a good to great day on the trail. I'll be sleeping good tonight.
