I think I'll take yet another day off.
Even though it's Tuesday it sure feels like a Monday. Maybe it's just that post-holiday feeling like an overstuffed piggy who doesn't want to get off the couch thing setting in. Man, I could keep this attitude up until New-Years. Turn it into a whole lotta no riding and relaxing.
It's been a fun few days taking it easy and slacking. One or two more surely won't hurt. Not in the long run.
At least I can claim I did something bike related today. A bit of chain maintenance on top of a good and right scrubbing session. The mud from the other nights' riding had adobefied itself between the lugs of my tires. It might have been easier to let the air out of them and ride them around the yard to break the mud off them. Sticky stuff.
Now my 29er's clean and sleek looking once again. Ready for more action... one of these days. Now where's those Christmas cookies...?
Say what?
A day off? I would not do that. A rock sitting still gathers lots of moss and adipose tissue. I crave more pumpkin pie with whipped cream. Heck I ride so I can eat Krispy Kremes whenever I want. the fat-asses at the office hate that.
Git on it and ride.
mmm, pumpkin pie...
I love that stuff. You can bet I ate more than my share over the holiday. Krispy Kremes? Who can say no to those? Breakfast or lunch or dinner - Krispy Kremes will do.
And after donuts for dinner, pumpkin pie for dessert.
Riding around carrying all that extra weight will be good training.

I may not be fast, but I'm 2 old 2 go slow
I forgot...
I can relate to you needing to clean your bike...I guess, I am going to have to clean mine a bit more now that I have these new hoops.
I wanted to publicly thank you too, for spec'ing out some really sweet wheels. I really appreciate you doing that, and helping my wife get a truly awesome gift for me.
